We grew up in the UK and Germany, each exploring our home countries — and somehow, we found a new adventure in each other. Over time, our connection turned into plans, and plans into a home and choosing a life together.We feel very lucky to share this moment with you as we begin the next chapter as husband and wife — Mann und Frau.

This wedding is more than a day. It’s a moment to honour where we come from, celebrate who we are becoming, and begin married life surrounded by the families and friends who guided us along the way. We are proud of the life we’re building — and even more grateful to celebrate it with all of you.

We couldn't imagine a better place to celebrate with you than Schloss Herten — a beautiful moated castle surrounded by water, trees, and just the right amount of fairytale atmosphere. Hidden in a peaceful park in Herten, this historic castle offers elegant rooms, lovely gardens, and plenty of space for hugs, laughter, dancing, and raising a glass (or two). We're so excited to share this special place with you and can't wait to celebrate together in such a magical setting.
Dresscode — Castle Chic
Please join us in elegant, formal wedding attire suitable for a celebration in a historic castle.
Dresses, elegant jumpsuits, suits, or tailored trousers with a shirt and jacket are all welcome. Feel free to wear colour—jewel tones, soft pastels, warm neutrals, floral patterns, and classic black are all lovely choices.
We kindly ask guests to leave white, ivory, cream, and predominantly white outfits for the bride. White shirts, accessories, and patterned outfits containing these colours are, of course, perfectly welcome.
The dress code is formal, but black tie is not required.
The colours shown below are for the bridal party and groom only. Guests do not need to match this palette and are welcome to choose any elegant colour.
Wedding Dinner
Dinner will be served as a varied buffet, with vegetarian and vegan options available. Please let us know about any allergies or other dietary requirements so that we can advise the caterer accordingly.
Sunday Morning Breakfast (Optional)

We would love to gather one last time on Sunday morning for a relaxed breakfast before everyone heads home.
This event is not yet finalised. We are still looking into suitable venues near Schloss Herten and will confirm the location, timing, and all further details closer to the wedding — once we have a better sense of how many guests would like to join.

Our wedding celebration takes place at the beautiful Schloss Herten, a historic water castle set in a scenic park in Herten, North Rhine-Westphalia, located in the northern part of the Ruhrgebiet. For convenient parking, a large, well-lit and video-monitored public lot is available at the nearby LWL-Klinik, just a short 4–5 minute walk from the castle entrance.
The castle is located in the industrial heart of Germany, offering a wide range of nearby hotels and holiday apartments, many of which can be booked easily via Booking.com or Airbnb.
