Groom & Bride

Our Story

We grew up in the UK and Germany, each exploring our home countries — and somehow, we found a new adventure in each other. Over time, our connection turned into plans, and plans into a home and choosing a life together.We feel very lucky to share this moment with you as we begin the next chapter as husband and wife — Mann und Frau.

This wedding is more than a day. It’s a moment to honour where we come from, celebrate who we are becoming, and begin married life surrounded by the families and friends who guided us along the way. We are proud of the life we’re building — and even more grateful to celebrate it with all of you.

We can’t wait to raise a glass, share a hug, and fill the dance floor.

Wedding Party

We couldn't imagine a better place to celebrate with you than Schloss Herten — a beautiful moated castle surrounded by water, trees, and just the right amount of fairytale atmosphere. Hidden in a peaceful park in Herten, this historic castle offers elegant rooms, lovely gardens, and plenty of space for hugs, laughter, dancing, and raising a glass (or two). We're so excited to share this special place with you and can't wait to celebrate together in such a magical setting.

Dresscode — Castle Chic

Please wear elegant wedding clothes suitable for a formal celebration in a historic castle.

Examples include:

  • Midi or long dresses, elegant jumpsuits or smart separates;
  • Suits, or tailored trousers with a shirt and jacket.

Jewel tones, soft pastels, warm neutrals, muted florals, and classic black are all welcome.

Please avoid white, ivory, and cream, as these colours are reserved for the bride. This is formal wedding attire, but not black tie.

The colours shown below are for the bridal party and groom only. Guests do not need to match this palette and may wear any elegant colour they like.
